1. Operator

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern Cara Web, a safe-for-work, text-only friendship chat operated by Itaimi Global Inc. (이타이미글로벌 주식회사). Cara Web is a separate product from Cara on the App Store and Google Play.

2. Agreement

By accessing Cara Web or using Chat, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

3. The service

Cara Web provides platonic, everyday conversation with friends such as Rina and Marcus. The current product scope is text conversations, streaming replies, and conversation history. The tone is casual friendship, not romantic roleplay, fantasy roleplay, or adult chat.

Cara Web does not include text-to-speech, image generation, adult or NSFW content, dating services, professional advice, or medical advice. Replies are AI-generated and may be inaccurate. Do not rely on them for health, legal, financial, or other professional decisions.

4. Eligibility and age

Cara Web is available only to users aged 16 or older. The 16+ rule is a child-protection eligibility requirement. It is not a condition for accessing adult content, because Cara Web does not offer adult content.

Before Chat starts, you must confirm that you are 16 or older. We do not collect dates of birth, birth years, government ID images, or face scans for this check. If you select that you are under 16, you may not use Chat. We may suspend or delete an account if we learn that a user is under 16.

5. Accounts

You may browse public pages without an account. Chat requires an account. We may start Chat with an anonymous account after age confirmation and later let you link Google or email sign-in to the same account. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that create security or abuse risk.

We may change, pause, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical. We do not promise uninterrupted service.

6. Free use and paid messages

New users may send 5 completed Chat turns before sign-in and 5 additional completed Chat turns after sign-in. That combined onboarding quota is granted once. It does not reset every day.

Paid subscribers have unlimited messages.

7. Subscriptions, renewal, and Paddle

Paid access is sold as a monthly subscription at US$9.99/ month or an annual subscription at US$79.99/ year. Prices are shown in USD. Applicable taxes may be calculated at checkout.

Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Cancel before the next billing date to avoid the next charge. Canceling stops future renewals. It does not automatically refund a payment already made.

Paddle is the Merchant of Record for Cara Web purchases. Paddle processes the order, payment, applicable taxes, invoices, and refunds. Before you pay, Paddle checkout will show the product name, billing period, total, and that the subscription renews automatically.

Refund requests follow the Refund Policy.

8. Acceptable use

You may not use Cara Web to:

• break the law or ask the service to help you break the law
• create or seek sexual content involving minors, or any sexual exploitation
• harass, threaten, or abuse other people
• impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity in a harmful way
• infringe intellectual property or other rights
• probe, bypass, or disrupt security, quotas, or the service infrastructure
• use the service to provide professional, medical, or dating services to others

9. Intellectual property

Itaimi Global Inc. and its licensors own Cara Web, including the site, brand, software, and character presentations. You retain rights in the text you submit. You grant us a limited license to process that text so we can operate Chat, store history, provide support, and meet legal duties. You may not copy, scrape, or resell the service except as allowed by law.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided on an as-is basis for entertainment and general conversation. We do not warrant that replies will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Itaimi Global Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for a claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for Cara Web in the three months before the claim, except where non-waivable law requires otherwise.

Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable consumer rights under the laws of your jurisdiction.

11. Governing law and changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict of law rules. Courts located in the Republic of Korea have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.

We may update these Terms. The updated version takes effect when posted on this page, with the new date and version shown above. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
